Thrapston Town Band, under the direction of Musical Director, Nathan Waterman, is delighted to announce a Charity Concert in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. The Concert will feature the highly talented Northampton Male Voice Choir (NMVC) under the direction of
Stephen Bell. Prostate Cancer is very common – Current statistics suggest 1 in 8 men in the UK will get it in their lifetime. In the last year, the band have 3 members who have been directly affected by a diagnosis of Prostate Cancer. This has spurred the band on to hold an event which will not only raise awareness of the disease but also raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and the valuable work that they undertake. We are particularly delighted to be joined by the entertaining NMVC because as an all male choir, they have, inevitably, been affected by this issue and are regular supporters of Prostate Cancer Charities. The Concert will take place on 28 th March 2020 at 7.30pm in St. Mary;s Church, Titchmarsh. All profits from the Concert will be donated to: Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate Cancer UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1005541) and in Scotland (SC039332). Registered company 02653887.
