Northampton Town & County Art Society, in collaboration with the Storehouse Gallery, presents a new Summer Exhibition to be held at the Storehouse Gallery, Building 1, The Depot, Bridge Street, Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire NN7 4PS – June 30th 2018 – 28th July 2018.
This is an exciting new joint venture of Northamptonshire’s premier art group and a newly established independent creative art space and gallery. The Northampton Town & County Art Society was established in 1913 by a group of local artists and every year since they have exhibited their finest and most recent artworks at annual exhibitions, including through both world wars. The Storehouse Gallery was opened in August 2017 and is fast establishing itself as an important exhibition space within the county, hosting artwork and photographs from Northamptonshire artists, but also designers and artists from further afield including London and Birmingham.
The exhibition, a showcase for Northamptonshire’s artists, is to be held at the Storehouse Gallery’s spacious and light-filled exhibition space at the 19th century Royal Ordnance Depot, and will feature the works of professional and celebrated local artists, bringing a rich variety of styles and media from the cream of the county’s art world. As with all of the Society’s exhibitions, the show is well anticipated and combined with the Storehouse’s new art venue, promises that this exhibition will be another major event in Northamptonshire’s art calendar. Paintings, sculptures and original print work will be on show with the majority being available for sale.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 30th June until 28th July 2018. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and Sunday 10.30am to 4pm. Admission is free.
