A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Raeburn Road, Northampton.
The incident happened just after 2.15am, when there was an altercation inside an address in the area which resulted in a 33-year-old man sustaining a stab wound. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he died a short time later. Superintendent Kev Mulligan, said: “This is an exceptionally fast-paced investigation with a lot of enquiries to work through but we are making good progress and are absolutely committed to bringing the people responsible for this man’s death to justice. “Specially trained officers are supporting the man’s loved ones at this time and I would kindly ask the media to respect their privacy at this extremely distressing time. “Please come forward if you have any information about what happened here or if you have any Ring doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage that you think could assist our enquiries. “You can call us on 101 or if you would rather stay anonymous, call CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.
