St. Christopher’s Care Home, in Abington Park Crescent, Northampton, are appealing to local makers of chutneys, marmalade, jams and preserves, and who might have a jar or two they could spare for their forthcoming Christmas Fayre.

This annual fundraising event for the charity, features all handcrafted or homemade items, mainly produced by residents, staff, management and volunteers.

If you do have some jars you could spare, they would need to be clearly labelled with what the item is and date of when it was made and brought to St. Christopher’s by no later than the Friday 15 November. Please enclose your name and address with any donations.

On Saturday 23 November St. Christopher’s will be having their annual Christmas Fayre with an array of stalls selling handmade Christmas Gifts, Cards and Crafts including a Cake & Bake Stand, Jams, Chutneys & Marmalades, made by residents, staff, management and volunteers, Refreshments, Hot Food, a Raffle, and Children’s Fun Zone. Father Christmas will be present. All the monies raised go towards the Residents Funds for events run in the home and places they are taken them out to in the St. Christopher’s mini-bus.
